Newlyn

The EverybodyOnline project launched in Newlyn in June 2006. 

EverybodyOnline is working in the Newlyn area alongside actnow and Penwith District Council, in partnership with BT. 

Newlyn’s main industry is fishing, and with the fishing industry in decline, unemployment levels in the Newlyn area are on the rise.  EverybodyOnline aims to encourage the regeneration of the Newlyn area by providing the community with access to Information Communications Technology (ICT) skills and as a result providing the community with alternative employment avenues.
