Shelter DVD shows housing advice is not just for the homeless

EverybodyOnline Gorgie Dalry has partnered with Shelter Scotland to produce a short DVD for the Shelter Get Advice web pages. It seeks to demonstrate that housing advice is for everyone rather than simply for those experiencing immediate homelessness emergencies.

Funding success provides computer training opportunities

EverybodyOnline Gorgie Dalry and Dunedin Canmore Housing Association has secured over £19,000 from the Scottish Housing and Regeneration Fund to deliver a Computing and ‘Train the Trainer’ package for tenants of the Dunedin Canmore Housing Association and long term unemployed clients of partner agencies.

The EverybodyOnline Gorgie Dalry project partnered with the Fountainbridge Library to host a Silver Surfers Day event as part of the national Silver Surfers 2008 initiative.

The event attracted over 100 local residents and community organisations and provided them with the opportunity to try out the internet and meet EverybodyOnline project Coordinator, Kirsten Cook.
